If only I had a Hoover

I wrote this short Hoover Zen Whisper Multi-Cyclonic Canister Vacuum Cleaner Review before heading out to pick up Rose from work this morning. Kind of thought I might get around to writing 2-3 more reviews today… but now I’m insanely tired, Connor was asleep, but isn’t now (he seems tired still, fixing him some chicken then hopefully he goes to sleep). Now I’m just biding my time, waiting for him to go back to sleep so that I can as well! So new Hoover review… which actually isn’t that great of a review, since the Hoover Zen Whisper Multi-Cyclonic Canister Vacuum Cleaner uses the same motor and basic design as the Dyson DC21 I basically just pointed people in that direction… lazy I know, I may add to it later, at least transpose some of the information from the other review… but yeah, that’ll be after a good nap since I’m running on 4ish hours of sleep in the last 48 hours.

If only I had another Oreck to review… oh wait, I do!

So as it turns out, I guess that I will be putting up a LOT more of these reviews :-P I’ve only got about 100 more vacuum cleaners to review before I am done with the current list of vacuum cleaners on the market, and doing one once every 3 days, with current rate of introduction of new models and vacuum cleaner lines… I’d say I’ll have every vacuum cleaner currently on the market reviewed in about 10 years :-P I’m finally going to add a vacuum cleaner reviews category to here… because I’m adding a new one quite frequently anymore so may as well right? Anyways, on my Oreck kick still I recently wrote this Oreck Pilot Vacuum Cleaner Review which is up to par with my usual vacuum cleaner standards I’d say. Not that the vacuum is merely at par, but rather it far surpasses the “norm” for vacuum cleaners today, but the work I did reviewing it is about par for the course.

If you ever needed a new vacuum now is the time

I FINALLY got a working ISPConfig3 server running here at the house… which means that with a couple of UPS here next year when Google’s gigabit internet comes to KC I’ll be able to move several of my sites here. It could be the two trampolines that arrived, one for wearing out Connor (which has been a success if I do say so as he’s been sleeping much better). Or it could be the success I’ve had with my last vacuum post about the two Oreck’s I reviewed… that went very well I’ve had a lot of new traffic to the Vacuum Cleaner site… Either way, I’m taking a slight break from developing sites (which is awesome on the LAN) to pop in here and mention that I’ve grown the vacuum cleaner site to a whole vacuum cleaner network! I’ve added 5 new specialty vacuum cleaner review sites to the list in order to get the most out of the network… the next task is to obviously promote them (like I’m doing now) then I’ve got to get an RSS feed working on the vacuum network (what I’m currently working on the LAN) then launch like 3 or maybe 4 new vacuum cleaner sites to run WordPress on for the automatic updating, pinging, etc. services that wordpress does. That’s one of the major reasons why I think blogging about the new articles turned out to be such a success. Anyways, the vacuum cleaner network now consists of Highest Rated Vacuum Cleaner Reviews which is obviously a site dedicated to the highest rated vacuum cleaners that I’ve reviewed. Then there is Vacuum Cleaner Reviews which is just a generic vacuum cleaner reviews site should contain all of my vacuum cleaner reviews to boot. After that I made Vacuum Review for the shorter URL, it just makes things easier basically the same kind of vacuum review site. The Best Vacuum cleaner reviews have now been separated out, which I’ve actually had quite a few requests for from the many people who just want the best vacuum cleaner reviews available. The last one I put together was a simple Vacuum Cleaner Comparison site to compare all of the vacuum cleaners I’ve reviewed over the last couple of years that I’ve been doing vacuum cleaner comparisons.

Sanitaire is a name known in the commercial cleaning business as a name that stands for quality. When most people think of the name Sanitaire, they immediately envision a red and chrome upright vacuum with a minimalistic design, and a hearty nature to outlast anything in its price range. That’s the exact vacuum I was writing about when I wrote my Sanitaire Vacuum Review tonight. This great vacuum hasn’t changed much over the years, but that’s because it hasn’t needed to. Sanitaire had a winner when they launched this vacuum and it has left an impression on the industry not to readily dissipate.

Jeez… PR is increasingly difficult to hold onto!  I guess that’s the nature of the beast.  As tens of millions  of websites are added to the system every month you need more and more incoming links all the time to make things worth while.

As far as I understand what happens with PR is you get x number of sites in the system (billions) and then you find how many links are to each of those sites, let’s say on average each site has 200 incoming links (you gotta think about sites like Google, with millions of incoming links, and sites like mine with maybe 20 or so).  So there sites with 200 incoming links are PR 5′s (I know more goes into it as if a PR 6 links to you you generally get a PR 5 and most definitely automatically get a PR 3 at the least).

So the more sites that are added to the system linking to other sites the higher that average number of links goes and the more links you must obtain in order to hold onto oh, say a PR 3 (like I’d like to get back to!)

Ugh… so much work for something so trivial!
