Obviously there is no much in this world better than asian food, but occasionally something comes around that is. For example, oh nevermind, nothing is better than Asian Food, who am I trying to fool? But the Asians do have a secret to health with their usage of cinnamon, and ginger (both natural appetite suppressants) in many of their traditional dishes Asians may go longer without eating than many of us. This helps them to keep more petite frames without growing obese nearly as often as Americans, and Europeans do.

In order to take this asian food blog to the next level it’s important that I keep updates coming in on a consistent basis. So the updates shall commence! I’ve got a 30 day blogging challenge in mind, not sure if I am going to keep up with this asian food blog, or any of my blogs daily, but at least one of them should be updated every day. I’d like to get a few hundred posts in between all of the sites I’ve got over the next 30 days. How much of that will be dedicated to the asian food blog is yet to be seen though.

Some of us were not gifted with perfect sight… or even good sight for that matter. Many of us just flat out can’t see without our glasses. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner the last thing you or I would want would be to not be able to see the gorgeous face of the one we love so dearly. A new set of eye glasses can be very costly, the idea of getting a pair of eye glasses such as those pictured above, specifically for a Holiday like Valentine’s Day, seems like crazy talk to most of us living on a budget. In the turmoil filled economy we live in, who isn’t on a budget? What if I told you that you could get Read more…

A vacuum cleaner reviews experiment on my asian food and cooking blog yo!

Okay, so I understand that this is my asian food and cooking blog, but I’m running a short little experiment that may last for a couple days on vacuum cleaner reviews. So the question is does this place fair better, or rather does my vacuum cleaner reviews sites fair better when I write about vacuum cleaner reviews, or reviews in general? Or should I just stick on my asian food and cooking topic and leave it at that? Does mingling asian food and cooking and vacuum cleaners reviews screw with my ratings, or is it helpful, or does it do nothing? Eh, only time shall tell right? Generally speaking, whether you are talking about vacuum cleaners or asian food and cooking the main thing that matters is the amount of work that you put into it. So after a 30 day blogging challenge where I reviewed hundreds of items, and did a lot of work getting the templates for my asian food and cooking blog here ready for a long haul run… then never went the long haul… well it only makes sense to pop in occasionally with some asian food and cooking news from time to time ya know? But that’s not really what today is about, for the most part today is about my vacuum cleaner comparison site that does decently well, but not as well as last year… so the goal is to regain the supremacy that I had on the vacuum cleaner rankings stuff again. So how does one do that? Well that is the question of the hour is it not? In general being so lack luster and spreading the same message over a wide birth of topics is not a great thing… but I am hoping that I can make this vacuum cleaner reviews topic long enough to make up for the indiscretions that may present themselves at times. I think that what I am missing may be much worse than just a few vacuum cleaner reviews, but rather a vacuum cleaner content lack… so we shall see. Onward and upward though, that is the asian food and cooking way right? Or is that just the best vacuum cleaner ratings talking to me?

Since this is my Asian Food and Cooking blog I guess it is appropriate that I share that my Asian Food and Cooking reviews will be somewhat lacking for a while. I’ve got a whole bunch of work to do with multiple projects, including but not limited to The Bible Animated! Got a whole lotta stuff to do, but The Bible Animated is kind of priority in the matter. It is a huge undertaking with CakePHP and I’m the only one working on it, so it’s hard to find the motivation… also it’s hard to keep up with this Asian Food and Cooking reviews blog when I’ve got so much to do with The Bible Animated. Anyways, we’ll be back to the Asian Food and Cooking blog at some point in time, just not right this second since I’ve got several other projects to build on, also including a food site HealthyBudgetCooking.com to help people learn to do Healthy Budget Cooking ;-)

When you have a young child like we do, there aren’t a lot of medicine’s that you can use to help them. You’re left with mostly natural homeopathic healing methods, that can be a bit tricky to find in todays society. In fact not even drug stores around here sell Cola Syrup anymore! I had to find it online, many places just said to use juices, but it just wasn’t the same for our son. The caffeine in cola syrup constricts blood vessels in the stomach to ease and settle an upset stomach.

Five Spice Rice

Recently I wrote about the value of adding rice to your diet. The value of one of the cheapest foods, that is not only heart healthy, but can help you shave off some pounds by adding to your meal without adding large amounts of calories. Well, one major down side to rice is the boring factor. Adding rice to every meal, while it can cut down your calories, can make your life quite bland! Adding soy sauce can spice things up, but the increase in processed salt is very bad! That’s why I recommend Bragg Liquid Aminos, 16 fl oz liquid which tastes much like soy sauce, but is 100% natural sodium that can easily be absorbed by your body, and contains amino acids that your body needs to function!

A switch to Nishiki Premium Brown Rice, 15-Pounds Bag can save you money, and add to your heart healthy meal… but tends to be a bit dry for my wife and sons taste. So I had to think of a way to spice things up a bit! Especially since I got a bulk 15 pound bag to save on time and money of buying rice! Adding Gourmet Dry Blends / Seasonings Chinese Five Spice to my rice mix (just about a teaspoon per cup of dry rice mix) makes our rice more interesting, and keeps our 2 year old son filling his face all meal long ;-)

Only the best for your deserving eyes!
